I’m a professional writer and editor with more than 20 years of experience and a knack for turning complex ideas into compelling content. 

I work with individuals and organizations of all sizes, from small nonprofits to large international companies. Whether you need help with a report, white paper, video script or web copy, I can help you create intelligent and engaging communications that drive impact. 

I’m also a journalist, with experience writing news and feature articles, producing video and podcasts and managing editorial calendars. My work has appeared in publications that include University Affairs, Smith Business Insight and more. In 2024, I won Silver for Best News Coverage at the National Magazine Awards: B2B.

Prior to freelancing full-time, I worked in communications and marketing with both the nonprofit and private sectors, advising organizations big and small on communications strategy, branding, marketing, media relations and social media, as well as managing the development and launch of digital, print and video projects. Thanks to this experience, I have a deep understanding of internal processes and communications needs.

I’m an avid traveller and have been lucky to live and work in the United Kingdom, The Netherlands and New Zealand. Today, I call Canada’s East Coast home.
